Fresh Data engineer vaccancy in Barclays Technology in Chennai 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Run, modify, update and help run our ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and business intelligence reports.
• Data analysis and correlation. Generate usable code in Python, PySpark, and Hive. 
• Configure various conda/pip environments, create and store code using git to build our repository. Data Science Group: 
• Follow coding and best practices documentation. 
• Participate in retrospectives, creating plans and positions, helping to develop the team. 
• Promote a risk-free environment for our products and services.

ELIGIBILITY: 

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science or quantitative discipline or demonstrated experience in delivering products and services in these lines.
• Able to actively establish timelines, milestones with product manager and other team members. Levels of awareness/activity in the levels: 
• "Program and Build", "Testing", "Technical Understanding" and "Data Analysis and Synthesis". 
• Willingness to develop them according to professional standards: up to the employer / employee.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dashboard tools like Qlik Sense, Tableau or LoopUp. 
• Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Human activity and human behavior. Develop a data product cycle. 
• To work with large datasets in different formats (csv, xlsx, Json, Parquet, Hadoop, Hive, SQL) or reports for clients. 
• Statistical skills: such as logistic/linear regressions or t-tests.
