 TATA COMMUNICATION OFF CAMPUS DRIVE - SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER 

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Responsible for software development projects across various technologies (in-house or through vendors) to build new capabilities, drive traffic, and improve operational efficiency (across color , data center, cloud, MSS, etc.). Designs and defines specifications for high-performance software applications, including business applications. Leads the design, development, testing, debugging, and implementation of specialized software or utility programs using programming languages ​​and source code to meet end user needs. Performs regular updates and supports upgrades for existing applications using engineering releases and resources. Maintains technical standards for application development and is responsible for software quality assurance by monitoring system compliance, identifying key weaknesses and driving improvement plans.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY :

• Assists supervisor in development evaluation. 
• Supports the software development process. 
• Also supports reports and dashboards in the form of uptime, recovery time, etc. 
• Works well and efficiently with general instructions. 
• Regularly participates in significant projects or activities as an integral member of the team, is able to proactively identify significant issues or risks, seeks the appropriate level of guidance and advice to ensure delivery of quality results. 
• Operational role that is responsible for delivering results that have a direct impact on the achievement of results within software development.
• Can identify problems and provide input to improve, modify or change current methods and processes based on personal experience and feedback. 
• Work hard to acquire skills, methods, work practices, knowledge of complex concepts so that they can progress fully in the field of specialization. 
• Acquire skills and knowledge that will enable them to make changes to solve problems, challenges and problems that they are not familiar with.
